The UFL is spending money in all the wrong places and is operationally failing

So right now the main issue for the UFL is that the quarterbacks are upset with the low level of pay (compared to how much more the XFL paid back in 2023 and 2020), and the common response is that the UFL has no money to pay these players to begin with. This is fundamentally incorrect. The UFL this offseason just spent a ton of money building a new hub in Arlington (even though hubs are objectively terrible) and definitely has the money to pay it's quarterbacks.

There's only eight starting quarterbacks, all that needs to happen is for them to have a few hundred thousand in base pay as opposed to $55,000, and then we won't risk losing all the league's talent. The UFL is being cheap and it's caused us to lose AJ McCarron and PJ Walker already, for this league to work it needs to be able to bring in capable quarterbacks, and for that to happen there basically just needs to be a minor increase in spending on total player salaries.

If the pay level continues to be this low, like PJ Walker more players will just move on to the CFL, or just not play at all like AJ McCarron if they've already made a decent amount of money from the NFL. If we lose all our quarterback talent the league will not remain watchable, viewership will decline and the UFL will ultimately fold, all because the league is unwilling to meet a minor increase in total spending on player salaries.
