Need help selecting equipment

So one of my friends convinced me to buy into Ubiquiti. I'm a software engineer, but I hardly know anything about networking. This equipment is going to be used in my new house which is currently under construction and scheduled to be completed by the end of January 2021. Our new house will be two-stories (no basement), approximately 2,400 square feet, and will have 9 cat6 network drops. So far I've purchased

• 1 UDM Pro
• 1 USW-Pro-24-POE
• 1 USP-RPS
• a few G4 Cameras

I think I would like to get some Flex Mini's to place at every network drop and the other thing that I need are some AP's. This is where I'm a little lost. I don't understand if the AP's need POE or not POE, if I need to look at wattage, if LR's, HD's, or nanos are best for my new house or about how many of them I would need in total. I want to be able to have everything up and running pretty fast after we move into our home. Do you all have any suggestions, advice, or just general info that could be helpful? Also, I was thinking about purchasing some stands that I saw for the AP's instead of cutting and mounting them on the walls. Not sure if that impacts coverage or not. And finally, should I be concerned with lightning striking any of my G4's and taking out all of my equipment?
