Best figma & illustrator courses

Im trying to build upon my designer skills and i'm finding a lot of courses online. However, the problem is that I hate online learning, unless it's super engaging and doesn't have any fluff. I need to learn the following systems: illustrator, figma, photoshop (maybe) and XD.

Currently i'm a technical writer and a painter. i'm just looking to learn these skills so I can make my portfolio more engaging. Do you guys have any recommendations for engaging, clear and concise classes that I can look into? i'm open to in person classes in nyc as well.
