Husband admitted to burning mouse alive with like 15 other Marines. How normal is that?

He said the mouse had been pooping in their water fountain and setting off alarms in the armory, so when they caught it they put it in an ammo can and one of the dudes lit it on fire. My husband said the fire went out and the mouse was squeaking in pain… so he set it back on fire. He says he knows it was wrong but it was funny at the time. I’m disturbed and I need to know if this shit is normal or not. Apparently like 15 of them were standing there cheering it on.
