Expedite I-131 got rejected

We filed our AP in December, 2023 and still didn't receive it. My wife father passed away in Apr last year but since we didn't have our AP, we couldn't go. Based on the uscis site the tracker told us that we will get it by June but we didn't get it. So we finally got frustrated and expedite the request and uploaded the death certificate and we got an email that it meets the requirements but after a few days it got rejected stating that we didn't upload the evidence. I am confused what other evidence does it need? The death certificate is in English and is not damaged in any way. What should I do? Can I schedule a walk-in interview to state my wife case with uscis officers. We are in Seattle, Washington. Edit- we did upload the letter explaining the situation and also birth certificate
