UK dependant VISA - job search
Hello everyone,
I’m about to move to Amazon UK (my visa process is yet to start) from India, and my wife is also planning to move with me. She holds an MBA from a Tier 1 college in India and currently works as a Business Consultant at a Big 4 firm. I’d greatly appreciate insights on the following questions:
Once she gets her dependent visa, how long can she stay in India while searching for jobs in the UK?
Are small to mid-sized companies likely to ask her to be physically present in the UK for in-person interviews, or is remote interviewing common in the UK job market?
If she stays in India and continues her current job for the next 4-5 months, is there any risk of her dependent visa being canceled or revoked due to not residing in the UK immediately?
For those with experience in the UK job market, how long does it typically take to find roles in consulting, product management, or program management?
