Girlies who moved out of India after marriage , have you managed to make friends ?

As the title says I have moved to toronto from Mumbai. Having a really good social circle of friends back home has left me lonely in this city . Have any of you in such situations managed to find new friends or cope out ? Also do you know any social groups in around toronto?
