You ever find a game/media you vibe with, but discover something about its creators that turns you off of it?

With the Steam Sale going, I bumped into a game that I honestly quite liked, I'm not gonna name it here, cause, idk, maybe i'm wrong to be turned off from it, you tell me, but, for now don't want to be the cause of sales of it.

Anyway, as I found out, the same team work on two NFT games, they actually share the same name and world. One of their post is defending themselves on working on those, saying that ''not all of them are scams'', but, im sorry they kinda are to me, so it felt like this new cool game is built on people that probably lost a lot of money. I was very thorn, idk if it was the bias of liking the non-nft game, but also, after running a search on everyone in the team, they all were sorta shilling for it in their socials, not an artist but one of the heads was also using a lot of AI. Idk, everything rubbed me the wrong way.

Thing is, if this new game was made under a ''our nft failed, this is our last hoorah on making an original thing'', i think i'd be more open, especially if it came from failure of scamming people, but yeah, idk.

Anyway, y'all have any experience like that? Just, liking something and then being very put off by discovering stuff about it's creators? Also, am I being unreasonable here?
