Is there a way to reset progress? Hopefully a way that preserves a save?

Basically, I wanna do a level 1 challenge run. The game is extremely easy with all the unlocks, but it does seem at least possible to win on your first go.

Likewise, if you want a world record, I managed to get a better time than the WR on Speed Run Archives on my first try casually playing. Haven't submitted it, but it's lower than the WR time by about a minute. I'm absolutely positive it can be done better.

I wish there was a way to cycle the starting spirits (I think that's what they're called?) without resetting your gold. This game has speedrun potential, but setting up for a run is just too tedious as it is.
