I might be finished with Tudor
I’m posting this to get some insight of what you all would do. My Tudor collection is a relatively large part of my overall collection (15 or so total with some longines, 1 Rolex, 1 gp, 1 zenith and some micros) but I’m not sure how many more I could really get out of the remaining Tudor catalogue. I’m sure in the next few years there will be new tudors but at least for another month I’m not sure there’s anything I could add to these that would stand out in the collection. If the new turquoise Chrono was on a different piece the color could be a nice change but the pink is engraved and will never leave the collection. I’ve tried a few other brands like omega and grand seiko and all of them have ultimately left the collection as since Tudor was the first major brand I bought I didn’t find the same appreciation (or bias lol) for them. It’s also important to recognize that I may just be done with collecting the brand and it’s okay but I would like to hear some other options for pieces I could pick up that still stand out among these pieces. Preferably after or around the 2000s since I want something definitely durable especially living in Florida humidity. I’ve always gravitated to more modern looking pieces (ceramic > aluminum bezel for example which is ironic considering the tudors). I was thinking about a tiger chrono circa 2000 in green either steel bezel or two tone but would love to hear some other options I missed. I got into watches around Covid so I may have missed a bunch of cool things from the earlier 2000s. Would love to hear what you all have to say. Thanks!
