Anyone had any success drastically reducing their phone and computer usage?
I've always spent a lot of time on the computer and my phone, but during COVID it really got out of hand. I'm lucky enough to now have a job where I just sit on my ass all day on the computer, but that means I'm staring at a screen for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
Has anyone here had any success cutting back on their phone/computer usage?
I'm looking into some digital minimalism books and maybe going to an Internet and Tech Addicts Anonymous meeting. In some ways this has been harder than when I stopped nicotine, because it was possible (if very hard) to go cold turkey from that.
Sorry if this isn't germane to this subreddit, but I figure this place attracts both people who are or have been extremely internet addled and people who have taken the grill pill.
