Should i start over

Hi all. I’m currently on level 42. I didn’t know that until joining that I shouldn’t merge the ice cream or light generator. It took me forever to get the globe and still haven’t gotten the max milkshake. Once this sticker season is over is it worth it to start over so I don’t merge those?
