Inherited my grandparent’s ‘04 Highlander

114xxx miles. Runs strong. This was a Florida car and unfortunately the exterior wasn’t very well maintained since my grandpa passed in 2017 and so the sun ate right through the paint. And the paint… is bad.

This was just shipped up to Chicago last week. My brother (former Toyota tech) just changed the oil and did an inspection. All filters changed, tires are new, tune up probably next. We just swapped out the headlights. Roof basket is next to add some style points. Paint… we will figure out later.

This is a very special car to us and our cousins. Our grandpa would drive us everywhere when we’d visit Florida. As time passed we would drive it and take our grandma out. This will stay with the family until it dies.
