People who got their ears pierced as babies, how do you feel about it now?
I was born in the 90s and had my ears pierced as a baby, which was more common then from what I remember/have been told, at least in the southern states where I lived. They never closed up, even if I don’t wear earrings for years. I go through phases of wearing them and not wearing them, but I’ve literally never thought about it really until today. Came across a thread where people were arguing whether babies ears should be pierced. I kind of get it, as in the babies can’t consent. But I also like that my ears were pierced as a baby, personally. I’m not really trying to have a full ethics conversation so I’m posting here, I’m just curious how people who were also pierced feel about it (besides myself) now as adults?
