Red dot - normal?

I’m on day 4 and have noticed that some of my scabbing appears to have fallen off and left behind a red mark. The mark has gotten redder as the day has gone on as I’ve done a lot of swallowing and eating (really trying my best to get some food into me).

Did anyone else experience this? Should I be worried about bleeding? I haven’t spit any blood and it doesn’t appear to be bleeding from the site.
