Need some advice about policies.

Hey there, apologies for coming here for this question but I'm not too sure where else to turn.

My fiance currently works at a Tim Hortons and has been running into some issues with his coworkers.

For context, my fiance is trans, FTM.

My fiance came home from work feeling absolutely defeated which was completely unlike him, and apparently one of his coworkers had been saying some pretty horrific things about their child being trans. This isn't a one time thing either, they opening talk about berating them on the work floor with anyone who will listen. It sounds like borderline abuse, and we're very concerned.

My fiance went to the supervisor, and instead of handling it responsibly, the supervisor began to talk about their personal views on the matter even after my fiance openly told them that he was also trans. Nothing was done, and my fiance isn't being given his contract for us to look over.

I've been many things on the Tim Hortons website about their inclusivity policy, about how everyone is given equal treatment and whatnot, but now my fiance is concerned that the supervisor will not take any sort of action towards this situation or any further ones that arise.

We aren't sure if Tim Hortons actually has any of these inclusivity policies written on their contracts though, so I'm looking for information before we go to the higher ups.

Thank you, any information would be incredible!
