Les Traîtres (Canada) [PREMIERE]: S01E01 Discussion (Spoilers)

This season premiere is already unhinged in the best way. Dare I say possibly THE strongest premiere we've seen in this whole franchise?

Lots of memorable characters (almost everyone had some sort of presence), and all the Traitors already being on peoples' radars but with the possibility of escaping it, some great players and some very... uh, outlandish ones. It somehow did not feel stale despite replicating basically the exact same structure as the English premiere, except with the added shit stirring segment (a staple in European versions, I'm surprised they didn't include a dagger stab there too).

Favourites so far: MERIEM (this was basically her episode lol), Chris, Marc-Andre, Marie-Josee (evil older women <3), Lena. Also, Cedric is really cute. 🫣

ALSO: Karine is so, so, so good in this. Of course she was great in the English edition too, but her speaking French? Chef's kiss, baby.

Justice for the regular English Canadian season, it would have been so much better served getting 90-minute runtimes like with Quebec.
