Keyboard on PC stops working in TFD?

Specifically for TFD my friends keyboard stops working. We've tested and went on other games like COD, Tarkov and chained together and it works fine in those games but in TFD specifically you hear the USB connect and disconnect sound over and over until the keyboard stops working.

Things we've tested: Controller works fine USB slot change didn't change anything

Has this been happening to anyone else?
