Normal Total But Low Free?

I’ve been on TRT for awhile now and my doctor has been trying to get my dosage dialed in. I just got my results from my latest blood test, my total test is in the normal range but my free test is low. I won’t hear back from my doctor till tomorrow or Monday so I’m wondering what I should expect or what I should ask. My current dose is 100mg test cy. once a week.
