Tesla - pricey leases to come?

Took delivery of one of the first MYLRs three years ago, so coming to the end of the salary sacrifice lease next month. I really like the car so was just going to get the new MYLR and hold my nose regarding the Zieg Heils, Swasticars etc. However, our broker is advising that because of “Musk’s toxic impact” leasing companies are telling them that they are taking a very pessimistic view on residual values. So the cost of leasing a new MYLR through the third-party salary sacrifice companies may be “disproportionately expensive”. This hadn’t occurred to me as being an issue, but makes sense when you think about it as the market relies on residual values. Anyone else heard similar? Broker said it will be a few weeks the market establishes what view it is taking, but generally they were advising customers to consider alternative vehicles.
