Comparing T. Posey's Alone (2020) to the original #Alive (2020)

So Posey's Alone is the American adaptation of the South Korean film #Alive. It's weird that they both released in the same year, just months apart. I'm curious as to how the writers of Alone got the script from #Alive so quickly to release just a few months after.

Alone does make some changes. Some for better and some for the worst. I will say that I like the zombies more in #Alive than I do in Alone. The zombies in Alone tried to be more like the infected in the 2010 The Crazies remake.

Both films could have done without some moments. I will say I felt more emotionally attached to Posey's Aiden than I did with Oh Joon-woo. Overall, I say #Alive has a slight edge due to how more terrifying the zombies were in the film in comparison.
