Masters degree?

How much of a difference did ur masters degree make?

I’m currently a college student going into my senior year (yay!) I’m still deciding whether I want to teach middle school math or 5-6th grade.

However I came up with the thought of maybe not immediately after college go straight to teaching but to be a substitute and go get my masters. It would only take 2 semesters to get my masters at my program, which is a year of substituting

Does this sound like a good idea? I feel like subbing would also help me ‘get my foot in the door’ and give me a bit more experience inside the classroom before I have my own class

I would love to hear your thoughts!
