Death is nothing compared to vindication
I wonder if, when the full phone call was released in 2020, part of the reason the public did not give it the attention it merited was because of COVID. Back then, music media and audiences felt like they had larger things to worry about perhaps.
Another possibility is that by that time, the Taylor Antagonist in question (Ye) had fallen so far that there wasn't much fighting over the 2020 phone call release. And when there's a general agreement that he was wrong in 2020, there isn't much media attention: there's no fighting and the media scene wants to move on. It could be possible that media wasn't favorable for Taylor Swift even then (although she did get a lot more respected due to Folklore and Evermore).
I know this has a reference in "Cassandra", but I would like a Taylor Swift song that does fit the "Death is nothing compared to vindication" theme knowing what we do now.
What do you think? Why wasn't this full phone call release more covered back in 2020? Would you like a "Death is nothing compared to vindication" song especially with reputation Taylor's Version coming soon?
