1st session on chest tattoo using Nd:YAG laser
Hey guys, I started the process of getting my chest tattoo removed and had my first session a few days ago.
The tech recommended 6 sessions with a 60-day gap between each, but after reading some posts, it seems like waiting longer between sessions might give better results.
Also, the pain was intense! There was no ice, no numbing cream, nothing. I wasn’t prepared for how much it hurt or the smell (smells like my skin was on the grill). Next time, I’m definitely taking Tylenol and icing it. Not sure if the laser was too strong…
It seems to be healing well so far tho. I’ve been using jojoba oil and massaging it twice daily, and the shadowing is already starting to fade.
