Took my driving test today! ...and failed.

So I took my practical driving test today in Zurich and I legitimately though I was going to pass. I felt very confident with how I performed. In fact, I thought it was quite flawless. When we returned he said that he I didn't pass because I went into corners too fast. My teacher has never commented on this before. I felt completely in control going into corners at totally acceptable speeds. At least in my opinion. Then he really pissed me off when he started laughing. It was like he got off on that shit. Anyway, I'm just a bit mad about it. Seems like they look for any reason to fail you. Is this a common way to fail? Is it easier to pass the second time? I feel a bit demotivated after it, because I genuinely thought I killed it. Perhaps other people have a had similar experiences. It's just a bit annoying because now I have to spend more money on another practical and more classes when I really don't think I need more. Oh well, it is what it is.
