Review: Syn LS Club, Tulsa, OK

So wife and I went to Syn in Tulsa. We are new to the LS, and thought we would write a quick review, as all the reviews I could find were for the previous locations of Syn. Since we are new to the LS, my goal is to focus on the things that newbies might want to know, but aren't easily found out ahead of time.

How to join:

So Syn is not a members only club. All you need to do is show up and pay the fee and you can come in. Getting access is a matter of joining their Facebook group. This gives you information on the location, costs, etc.

Cost:

Syn charges $60 for a couple. I believe that single males are $80, and single females are $40 ( but don't quote me on that, as I really only payed attention to the couple price.

Syn has lockers available for $5, which includes a lock. The locker is about an 8" by 8" by 8" cube. Not super big, but plenty of room for a small bag, change of clothes, phones, etc.

We chose to rent a locker to store my wife's bag and our phones and keys so we wouldn't worry about losing them during the night.

Location and parking:

Syn is located in a residence just outside of downtown Tulsa area. Very convenient to get to via the interstates and highways depending on where you were coming from. The location is only about 200 yards from the highways exit, so you don't have to travel far on local roads. There is a nearby gas station down the road as well if you need drinks or gas before you arrive.

Parking is primarily in an empty lot across from the location. It is a grass field, not a paved lot, but the amount of traffic has pressed the ground pretty hard so it was easy to walk across, even for my wife in heels. I might worry about it if there was a big rainstorm the day before or during a visit. Syn notes that there is some street parking, but honestly, it's only enough space for maybe 4 or 5 cars before you are parking in front of someone else's residence, so honestly I would plan on parking in the grassy lot.

They do have a security guard outside as well. We we arrived at opening time (8 pm) the guard was hanging out on the residences driveway, as there were only 1/2 dozen cars at that time, and it was still fairly light out. We did notice that when we left, the guard was walking/patrolling the parking area, not just standing/sitting elsewhere, which was nice to know they they take it seriously. The guard was super polite and said hello and reminded us to drive safe and have a good night when we left, so A+ for security in the outside area.

Venue:

Let's talk about the venue itself.

As noted, this is a residence, not a commercial building like previous Syn locations. It is a fairly large, 2 story residence. The main entrance is a single doorway which enters into a foyer.

The foyer is the 'public' entryway into the club. There is a table just inside where you pay and get your wristbands. Once you have a wristband you can exit/enter as needed, so if you left something in your car you can go grab it and come back easily. The foyer also contains the lockers, which are $5. There are also multiple shelves and racks that are open for guest use for free, but they are not lcoka le spaces. Based on my night, I would have no issue leaving a bag there with small items (condomea, lube, etc) but would probably not leave a phone or keys unattended (but I'm also a little paranoid, so take that with a grain of salt). I will say, I saw NOTHING on the night I was there that indicated anyone was taking anything. As there appears to be staff in the foyer at all times (there was when I was there) it would be really hard for anyone to rifle through a bunch of bags. There is also a merch table with various Syn and 'adult' swag items like shirts and beanies against one wall.

Since we were new, we told the staff that, and they were happy to give us a tour and show off the venue.

Next area is the entryway/photo area. This consisted of 3 couches in a fairly blocked off space where photos are permitted. I did not see anyone using these for photos, but it was a good 'non play' area to sit in if you needed to use your phone.

To the right of the enteyway is the stairs (more on upstairs later) and the first bathroom. This is a half-bath with a toilet and sink. Plenty of supplies (TP, soap, etc) as well as a bottle of cologne were available. It was very clean when I used it, but I did not see it later that night.

Next main floor room is the kitchen/seating area. There are 3-4 high top tables with chairs in a open area, with a fielding that goes up to the second story. When we arrived there were already a few couples sitting and relaxing here. The DJ is also located along one wall of this area. I don't know if they always have the same DJ, but the guy here tonight was having a blast, and played a pretty wide variety of music. It was loud, but not so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation, which was nice.

The kitchen area attached was an open space. Syn had a cooler of ice, water, various sodas, and some cups (plastic solo and Dixie cups) out for the taking. These seemed to be replenished as the night went on, so while they never put out a huge amount of cups/drinks, they also never ran out. The kitchen also has cabinets for you to store your personally brought beverages. The understanding is that while this is technically a no booze club, no one is checking your cups. We brought a couple metal water bottles with an adult beverage in them, and left them in a cabinet all night.

Next room on the ground floor is the media room. This was a large open space filled with table along the outer walls, and couches in the middle area. There is a projector playing videos all night. It started with some softcore Playbiy style stuff in the 'nude women frolicking' genre, and later in the night was some more full contact sex videos. Nothing extreme, but a nice mood setter.

There is a small hallway off this room with a couple couches, and a door to an outdoor patio. My understanding is that this is the non-smoking patio. I cannot give specific details, as we did not use the patio during our visit.

Last room on the ground floor is the 'large playroom'. This is a large suite with 3 or 4 beds, along with benches on the walls. The beds were comfortable, and the lighting was fairly soft, though I personally don't care for the red lighting just due to personal preference. This playroom also has an attached bathroom for use as well.

The floor throughout the ground level is tile. The only issue at all we found with this floor is not the fault of Syn. Since this was a residence, there are multiple steps in some places. The biggest issue was the movement from the kitchen/open space area to the media room. There are multiple steps and lips in the floor that have to be navigated. Nothing extreme, but you do have to watch/be aware of them or you will trip. Again, this is just a result of the building, not something Syn could prevent.

On to the upstairs!

Back the entryway and up the stairs! We switch from tile to carpet. The stairs are well lit, and there are handrails on both sides. The stairs are narrow enough that you can easily hold both handrails to navigate is you had to many beverages, but still side enough to pass people moving the opposite direction when needed. The top of the stairs has a small landing, which overlooks the kitchen seating area.

Upstairs has 5 different spaces. The first is the private play roo. This was a locked apce that couple be rented for $20-$40 depending on the time (don't quote me on the price, we did not use this space). Since we didn't use this space, I can't comment on it directly.

Next room is the 'show off' space. This was a fairly small area, which contained 1 bed and a sex swing. It felt a little cramped, but was really just making use of the space as a play area, when the majority of the people I saw simply used it as the passageway to the next area, the outdoor patio

The outdoor patio upstairs is the 'smoking patio' as far as I could tell. It had lots of seating, a gas fire pit, and was enclosed on all sides by solid screens, so it was not visible to anyone outside the residence. I believe this was a 'no play' space if I recall correctly.

Next room upstairs is another bathroom. This was a half-bath, again well stocked and clean.

Next room is a couple only room. This space had 2 beds, and was reserved for couples. We were told the main rule for this room was that there should always be more pussy than dicks, so I would assume that you could easily have a mff playgroup in here. I believe the goal was mainly to give couples a play space that prevented single males from coming nearby, as they had to wait outside the room.

Next space is the kink room. This was a large space with a variety of furniture. In addition to the normal benches they had a nice chair in the center of the room, a St Andrews cross, a flogging bench, and a spreading chair if I recall correctly. This room was very spacious feeling, as there were no beds, which lent to more walking and viewing space. This room also has the gloryhole space. You can enter the glory hole, press a button, and a bell rings throughout the building alerting everyone that someone is ready to suck some dick. While I heard the bell go off multiple times during my visit, I did not partake so I do not know exactly how the gloryhole room was appointed.

Cleanliness:

The space was generally clean when we arrived. They had trash cans available in the kitchen and bathrooms, which everyone seems to use well, as there were not cups and trash just sitting around.

The bed spaces get cleaned in between uses. The staff was super efficient at cleaning the spaces. I know once we used the couple room bed, the staff was in there changing the sheets within 2 minutes of us exiting the bed. There was a mess made by a squirter in the kink room later, and once a staff member was alerted, they immediately got a towel and cleaned up. At no point did I ever see trash, used wrappers, etc left lying around. Between he staff and the clientele, the space stayed clean all night during our visit.

Staff:

Everyone we met were super nice and polite. They were happy to answer questions if you had them. As the night wore on, you could tell they shifted from a welcoming , chatting mindset to a 'get shit done' mindset. They were constantly moving, cleaning , helping out all night whenever something needed to be done. It was great to know that we would never have to ask for sheets to be changed, area cleaned, etc. Staff was just on the ball all night.

Security was not a big visible presence inside the club. I am not saying that there were not bouncer/security staff wandering around, but if so, they were very nondescript and stayed out of the limelight. This was in contrast to outside, where the security staff was a visible presence.

Clientele:

We spend about 4 hours at the club. When we arrived at 8 there were maybe 3 other couples and maybe 1 or two singles there. Starting around 9- 9:30, the traffic picked up. At its peak, we estimated that there were maybe 60-70 people in the club that were clients, not staff. Of those, maybe 15-20 were single males, the rest were couples and singles females. Honestly, it was a smaller proportion of single males than I expected.

The couples we met we all very polite and nice. We had a few nice conversations throughout the night. The single males we interacted with prior to play were all polite as well.

There was a proportion of the couples that were obviously attending for the social side of the event. I saw maybe 6-7 couples who stayed in the kitchen and media room to chat and drink during the night, without any apparent trips to playrooms.

In the playrooms, everyone seemed to have a great time. When a couple started playing there was generally a few watchers, more in the downstairs playroom than upstairs. Everyone was very respectful. As the night wore on and it got more crowded, the upstairs tended to feel very packed, as people were hanging out and talking on the landing and hallways. So if you were playing, there were people around but they were not necessarily just there to watch you, it was more of a 'they watched because they were chatting outside the play space' vibe.

When my wife and I used the chaise in the kink room, we had a small crowd watching. Eventually, we allowed some males to join in. They were all very respectful and asked before touching or participating. My wife never felt worried, even when I stepped aside to a bench to let her play. All the men respected her when she said she needed a break, and stopped immediately.

One big item we liked was the lack of any body shaming at all. Wife and I are NOT ken and Barbie. But still had a great time. No negative comments or actions by anyone. The entire club had a variety of bodies, from the conventional 'hot' people, to the majority that were just regular people. It was a really nice variety or body types in the club.

Overall:

We really had a good time! Syn was welcoming to new swingers, and the vibe was comfortable, whether you went to play or just watch, learn, and meet people. We will definitely be going back!

I'm sure I've forgotten something, so I may edit this later to add it in.

Have fun and stay safe everybody!

Edit: added comment about body types.
