Does anyone else rely on Magnesium for anxiety?
I've increasingly found myself relying on taking a Magnesium Glycinate supplement before going out and doing something that elevates my anxiety (usually being around a lot of people). For me personally, it works better than almost anything else I've tried and does a great job at reducing the issues associated with anxiety (rapid heart beat, cold hands and feet, jittery, feeling overwhelmed etc).
Has anyone else felt these effects from it? I try to not take it daily as to not build a tolerance, but I wish I could take it all the time as it just makes me feel so relaxed, warm, calm and happy. L-Theanine has similar effects but the Mag is just better and even more sedating (in a good way). It is the best supplement I've tried for anxiety, hands down.
If anyone has any advice on not building a tolerance or even increasing the effects of mag by pairing it with another supplement I would be interested in that as well!
