Is Creatine and Glutamine effective when fasting?

As the title states: I am currently doing a wet fast for Lent. I don’t eat anything until 5pm. I also do workout throughout the week and my goal is to have muscle growth mainly in my lower body. If I were to take these supplements on an empty stomach, will I still reap its benefits? Especially since I’m not eating as much (protein) as I should?
