Despite Taking Supplements, My Blood Levels Dropped

Back in August 2024, I went to the doctor because I was constantly feeling fatigued, never fully rested even after sleep, and had low energy levels. Blood tests showed the following results: • Vitamin D: 28.5 μg/L • Vitamin B12: 278 pg/mL • Folate: 5.2 μg/L

The doctor prescribed Cyanocobalamin and D3 supplements. Later, based on a pharmacist’s recommendation, I switched to Methylcobalamin and D3K2.

About three weeks ago, I decided to check my levels again, so I stopped taking supplements for a while before testing. Yesterday, I had a new test, and results are shocking: • Vitamin D: 24.9 μg/L (dropped despite taking D3 and after D3K2) • Vitamin B12: 283 pg/mL (barely increased) • Folate: 3 μg/L (dropped significantly!)

I’m really confused—why is my Vitamin D decreasing even though I was supplementing? And why isn’t my B12 increasing? Any advice on what I should do next?
