Advice for newbie couple planning a 2025 visit?

I've wanted to visit Sundance Film Festival for years but it's always seemed daunting to figure it all out when visiting from the Midwest. I've (sort of) committed to myself to attend in 2025 with my girlfriend and am wondering if there's any advantage on planning a year in advance?

Some questions I have included: When should I book a hotel and do we know next year's dates yet? I'd like to stay in Park City but I've already checked some hotels and they don't have any dates available any weekends next year. Is it already filled up?

Do I reserve reservations for dinner months in advance prior to knowing showtimes? What restaurants are MUST VISIT for reservations and what are the options for just nourishment? Local grocery stores?

Should I get a pass or get tickets when I'm there? Is it difficult getting tickets for two people?

What airport to people fly into and how do they generally get to Park City as I'm told parking is a major concern?

Lastly, what other experiences or local attractions should we attempt to take in while in the area outside of just seeing the movies?

Really, I'm just looking for any and all advice planning a year in advance. This would be my first festival outside of the Chicago International Film Festival which is fairly easy to attend. I'm excited but also a little concerned and overwhelmed. But I'd like to visit!
