Wireless Controller Stick Issue
I have a switch pro controller that I've been trying to get working with my steam deck, with no luck. The first time I paired it, it seemed to be working normally until I used the left stick and it acted like it had an insane amount of drift and would get stuck going up or down, even if I wasn't touching it anymore, and would only stop if I touched the deck's left stick. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting, and now the sticks just won't work at all. The rest of the buttons work completely fine, it's just the joysticks. (All of this happens both in the steam deck main menu and in any game) I even tried repairing it to my switch, and the sticks and everything worked perfectly with no drift whatsoever.
I borrowed a PS5 controller to see if the same thing would happen. I paired the controller and the sticks worked perfectly, at least until the controller died mid-game. I charged it overnight, reconnected it the next day, and it started doing the exact same drifting thing the switch controller did at first.
I've been using a wired controller with my deck and the sticks on it work normally. I tried reaching out to Valve's support and they were no help. I'm completely stumped on what the issue is.
