My ps3 game isn’t working

So Im new to steam deck, really new to this pc simulator stuff, but I did all the steps right for RPCS3 putting def jam icon in the right roms file. I can boot up the game in RPCS3, but it just freezes after a couple seconds and I tried to switching from Vulcan to OpenGl and still nothing. Need help bad rn, I’ve been tryna play def jam icon for so long now.
