Final fantasy 7 remake or Final Fantasy 16

Hi everyone I would like to play some FF, I'm not a big fan of FF but I love action rpg games like that. So I would have some advice on which one to pick the price is almost the same around 40 bucks but I don't know which one choose at least first. Usually I prefer the gameplay to the story. I love big world to explore, like zelda both or the witcher 3. I love action fast meele style of combat. I love side quest and activities and I really love secret and endgame with tons of equipment. So which one you suggest me to play on my Steam Deck? Thanks
