Facial Feminization (Pt 2)
Answering some questions about my previous post:
I’ve included photos with and without makeup. My experience hasn’t been perfect, but results vary.
In the first two comparisons, the only change was a 50 mg dose increase, which regulated my cycle. The first photo is without makeup, the second is with—just eyes and brows, no foundation or concealer.
I lost all my weight in the first three months on Spiro, including some muscle. My testosterone wasn’t high, but my T4 was elevated, and I used to build muscle faster.
The last photo shows my acne at the start vs. now. My skin was never perfect but looked fine from the front. I still break out, but it’s pimples now, not cysts. I also no longer have chest acne. I have scarring and plan to do microneedling once my acne clears. Breakouts depend on diet and exercise—less exercise = more temple pimples.
My nose appears smaller due to reduced sebum, similar to Accutane. Missing doses makes my face puffy (probably water weight). Without exercise, I gain weight faster on Spiro than off.
I bled every other week at first, but now I have no cramps or extreme pain before my period—I used to vomit from the pain.
I’m not on birth control; it gives me migraines.
My hair does not feel thicker, but I am growing baby hairs along my hair line and it is softer. My nails are stronger.
My breasts did not get rounder, but they maintained most of their size in my weight loss—they usually are the first to go when I lose weight. I do have more cellulite on my legs now than before, as well as general weakness. My arms are larger too. My body hair grows slower and finer, my mustache and chin hairs have become less noticeable as well.
I was thinner a year or two ago, but my face did not look like feminine. Yes, weight loss slimmed down my face a bit, but my features have never been this delicate in appearance. It is a thing, but just like some girls growing bigger breasts on spiro, you can’t hope for the same results. It’s a random lottery.
All I wanted was clear skin and big boobs and hips, I got neither 🤷♀️ Point is, results vary—if you get good ones, great! If not, keep in mind, my face did not change much and period was not regular until month 5/6. Stick with it for six months, drink your electrolytes, and try it out! Everybody is different 🙂
