Increase spiro to help pd?

I’ve been taking spironolactone for about 2 years for acne (started at 50mg, increased to 100mg). I’ve also had perioral dermatitis for about a year, and the treatment I was using wasn’t doing as good as a job as I would’ve liked. Saw a new derm today & he recommended increasing spiro to 150mg to treat the pd. Has anyone used spironolactone to treat perioral dermatitis and had success? I can’t find anything online about this being a common treatment
