Do you plan to play this game long terms ?

I noticed that story mode is going to be very short for 2nd game. i am not even sure if i want to buy into the hype. i just worry dropping 80-100$ then leave game after 1-2 weeks . is this game actually have long term goal besides selling me skins every time i looking at what is planned ?

is there any amazing progression system when i want to play daily
