Starter Won’t Deflate?

Beginner here! My starter is not deflating within 24, 36 or 48 hours.

The details:

-Starter age: 4ish weeks -Fed with filtered water and AP Flour -Feeding ratio started at 1:1:1. It wouldn’t double in size so I changed to 1:2:2 and it then started to double but not deflate. -Changed back to 1:1:1 and it had an extremely slow rise but once it peaked, it wouldn’t deflate. -Changed to 1:2:1.5ish because I thought I was adding too much water and it was trapping the gases. Still wouldn’t deflate. -I have tried waiting up to 48 hours between feedings to try to get it to behave. I was thinking maybe it was comfortable with the feedings and it needed time to eat. These two jars were fed Monday 2/19/24 at the timestamps on the jars.

Should I let it go longer than 48 hours between feedings? Why won’t it deflate? Does it need to? Should I try a ratio of 1:1:.5/.75? Am I just over feeding it?

On a side note, my starter’s name is Dennis. He is a golden god iykyk
