Should I buy Sony Ult Wear?

So recently, I've been thinking of upgrading from my cheap earphones to an actual decent pair of headphones. A friend of mine recommended the Sony XM5, but I don't really have enough budget to afford it. I tried looking through the other headphones they offer and found the Sony Ult Wear, which fits just about my budget range.

I have been checking reviews about it and was pretty confident that it was the pair of headphones I was going to buy until I saw some reviews just a few hours ago saying that their headphones broke after just a few months of use. After seeing that, I've been conflicted as to whether I should buy it anymore. Any suggestions would help
