Playback problem.

Can anyone help me out with regarding video playback? My PC is getting lagged playing 4k 10 bit videos in VLC which i shoot ..even can't edit in DaVinci resolve/Premiere pro for this lagging. But once it is finally rendered, it runs smoothly.

I don't have any SSD drive attached to my motherboard. Is it the reason?
