how do i market an app?

Hi this is my first post here, but I would just like to know if anyone has any tips on promoting a finance related app. Right now I've unsuccessfully been using tiktok and instagram, but i can barely get any followers and my engagement is rlly low 😭. sorry if this is kind of a broad or basic question
