persistent rough, dry patch on upper lips
I don't know what caused it, tbh. I've had it before, and it went away by itself. Came back after a few years later. At first, I got anxious because I thought it was Actinic Chelitis, but I crossed that out because I rarely go outside, and if I do, I've always got sunscreen on and an umbrella.
If I run my tongue over it, it feels rough, and is kind of numb. If I open my lip, it is slightly inflamed. But if I touch it with my fingers it doesn't feel all that different compared to the rest of my lips. Thankfully, it's only on one spot and hasn't spread since.
I don't use any lip balm. I do use lipsticks and lip tints.
