Dying isn’t the final step

After pondering on how sunny could attain supremacy and reading people’s theories I have come to a realization. Anyone who says that Sunny needs to die in order to complete the final step is just dumb because that would make half of Sunny’s kit completely useless. The reason I say this is because Sunny’s lineage is all about making the perfect body or a vessel possibly capable of becoming a god or going beyond the divine rank. Either way the forbidden lineage’s hole thing was making the body more resilient and stronger. If sunny dies his body will become a shadow and during the fight with the archer we learned that shadows don’t have blood, they don’t have bones or muscle. This was a problem for sunny who had those things because unlike him the shadow wasn’t losing function due to tendons being cut she. And when she lost the use of her one arm it was because sunny mangled the thing so badly that it no longer could move because he broke destroyed it. If sunny became a shadow he would loose the use of blood and bone weave plus the other weaves he would get in the future. The only good one would be soul weave as it could possibly make his shadow stronger and take longer to destroy but that’s not guaranteed since shadow weave exists. Anyway I hope no one takes this the wrong way I am just saying that if sunny was to die to become a supreme, some of his best qualities that make him to strong and make other saints fear him would disappear and it wouldn’t make sense since he needs to collect the other weaves but if they don’t work it would be pointless and make no sense to introduce them. Now the dying part I think may happen much later on. Perhaps he does this as a divine in order to shed his mortal form or whatever and become a true god like the shadow god becoming a true shadow. Either way It just didn’t make sense. Anyway if someone thinks of a way for sunny to take the last step that doesn’t involve dying please share as I am interested in those types of theories.
