Do you care about Kai, Effie or Jet?

Maybe this is a bit cruel, but I wish Jet, Kai or Effie had died in the 2nd or 3rd nightmare.

At this point in the story I just don't care if they live or die... Like, they don't have the same depth of story as Cassie or Nephis, they were just Sunny's "cool friends" but now they don't remember him anymore, so I don't really care about them anymore.

If one of them had died earlier I think it would have given more weight to the story and maybe made me afraid that one of Sunny's friends would die, but right now I just don't care about anyone besides Sunny, Rain, Cassie and Nephis.
