the no even exchange policy is infuriating

I bought a foundation during the last 20% off sale. The shade was too dark. I tried to exchange it in store for a lighter shade of the same exact product and they were forcing me to pay the difference. How ridiculous!

The manager tried telling me brands came out with new shades after the holidays and people were coming in trying to get those shades. Uh huh.
