Strange message after picking up a skull

As I was swimming around Shrine of Ancient Tears yesterday I picked up an ordinary skull. After that there was like some sort of a deed or commendation done with the word "Souls" in it. I wasn't able to find anything about such deed and commendation that is tied to collecting skulls. After that there was another strange message with words "you moved" in it. Like my character progressed through something.

Does anyone have any idea about what commendation / deed I got and what was the second message? I'm new to SoT and I'm afraid I missed something important.
