Fake amazon recruiter email?

I received an email from an actual amazon email address asking about my interest in very general positioning at amazon for engineering, but the email includes a lot of bad grammar and broken english. I looked up the persons linked in, they claim to have worked as a recruiter for Amazon for almost a year now, but no picture. Has anyone heard of any scams/phishing going on, is this real and they just actually send out emails with really bad english?
