Wanting to make myself vulnerable to critique again, I submitted a logline to Script Pipeline.
I was briefly concerned that I was being ripped-off, but then I realized that I'd spend an equivalent amount on gasoline, and if it fuels me, my mind, I'd rather that than give it to my car to sit idle, pumping fumes onto jammed LA freeways.
I want to be held accountable to this one, and pump out the shittiest, most slippery first draft by the end of July.
I've often hit the obstacle, road block, resistance of wanting to write *awesomely* and that expectation has stalled out my productivity. I'd just keep re-writing the first 20 pages, wanting it to be PERFECT. I don't like it when that gives people the opportunity to identify me as a Virgo. Which I am.
But in this case, like John August advised, I've at least got a fun ending in mind. Got that goin' for me, which is nice.
Here is the logline in case anyone is interested and wants to buzz some feedback at me.
Thanks for reading.
