Netherlands Schengen Visa from UK

Hi, I have booked an appointment for Netherlands schengen visa from UK. I am just wondering do I need to fill any forms before visiting or just collect and take the required documents to vfs? Secondly where can I find the official document checklist? And thirdly, I'll be sponsoring my spouse for the trip as well, what kind of documentation will i need for that?
