[US] Writing contest/tutoring service suspicious method of payment & service

Hey there! I recently found a website called “Aralia Education” (aralia dot com is the website link) that claims to help students with programs in writing contests, tutoring services for tests, etc. I sent a request to join a course for a specific writing contest and then received an email from their team.

In the email, a member (whose name I won’t say, let’s call them X) formally said to add them on WhatsApp. So I did, and X responded with details to the course. X then created a group chat with me, themself, and two other members to go through the payment process.

I was sent a $2000 invoice and was told to Zelle it to “billing [at] aralia.com” I tried to pay for it but the bank didn’t recognize the email. On the invoice, this address was attached. Also a bit worrisome.

Aralia Education Technology Inc 1 Tara Blvd Ste 200

United States

Furthermore, I received a voicemail after calling their main number relating to the payment issue from someone who was mumbling and spoke broken English. The website also has many AI elements.

I have many WhatsApp messages as proof of this process. The whole thing (especially process of payment) seemed very sketch. So I wanted to ask you all for any guidance and help related to this; do you think this is a scam? If so, what should I do with the evidence I have from them? Is there anything I can or should do to get this website taken down? Thanks for the help!
