Single Woman 30 tired of the cold San Francisco summers

I'm looking for solid food scene, hot summers (I can bare winters once in a while), hopefully easy public transit access to some beaches, as long as they aren't as foggy and windy as SF's. I am also hoping for variety of people, heterogenous culture, I think one thing that irked me about SF compared to past cities was how everyone just had the same career background (tech) although everyone was open-minded.

Anywhere to suggest ? Also OK job salaries, which SF definitely has high income salaries but I can suffer the hit.
